Everyone Active is managing 190 leisure and cultural facilities across the country on behalf of more than 60 local authorities after securing 11 additional sites.
The operator has started working with Harborough District Council to manage two leisure centres in Market Harborough and Lutterworth as well as three leisure centres and three dual-use sites in a 10-year agreement with North Norfolk District Council, which includes the construction of a £10.7m leisure centre to replace the 30-year-old Splash Centre in Sheringham.
In an extension of its partnership with Blaby District Council, the operator will continue to manage Enderby Leisure Centre in Leicestershire and take on the operation of the Pavilion Leisure Centre in Huncote. More than £5m is being invested into the two centres to improve facilities.
Everyone Active has also started a 25-year partnership with North West Leicestershire District Council to manage Hood Park Leisure Centre in Ashby de-le-Zouch and Hermitage Leisure Centre in Whitwick. Hermitage Leisure Centre is due to be replaced by a new centre in Coalville in 2021.
